October 2024 - Yosemite NP + Half Dome

A delightful reunion with dear friends in Yosemite! We went on a 4-day backpacking trip starting at Mono Meadows Trailhead. We hiked nearly 50 miles over the course of the trip, including our Half Dome summit! That was a major bucket list item for me and I'm so happy I finally did it!

October 2024 - Boise, ID

DPS this year was in Boise, ID! I presented a talk on my laboratory experiments to study propane in Titan lakes. I met so many wonderful people and learned so much, what a great conference!

March 2024 - New Zealand!

I am so grateful that I was able to travel to this uniquely beautiful corner of the globe! I presented my research at Extreme Solar Systems V in Christchurch, NZ. This project studies the effects of haze on atmospheric spectra, using Titan as an analog for a hazy exoplanet. After the conference, I took a 2 week road trip around the south island to hike around some glaciers!

June 2023 - France

My second international conference! I presented a talk at Titan Through Time VI detailing my lab experiments of Titan lakes and seas at depth. The most interesting result so far is the formation of a liquid-liquid-vapor (LLV) system in Titan lake mixtures with the addition of propane! After TTT VI, I headed south to Provence for a Moons of the Solar System workshop.
